Final results of Afghan elections

Afghanistan’s Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) said it will announce the final results of disputed presidential election of August elections.
The announcement comes a day after a panel sponsored by the UN, the CEC said it had found clear evidence of fraud.
The preliminary results published last month, Karzai was nearly 55% of the votes, his main rival, Abdullah Abdullah, 28%, suggesting that the President had actually won.
The BBC’s Barbara Plett in the United Nations, said the Americans - and its NATO allies - seeking a second or a government of national unity.
They say the government should be allowed, if the American public to be convinced it’s worth fighting for sending additional troops to Afghanistan.
But, said the ECC that were updated by fraudulent voting, Karzai amount was reduced to less than 50%, indicating a runoff was necessary.
Washington - since the debate on an application for another 40,000 troops to Afghanistan - has a decision to preserve and share this moment.
With the most severe levels of violence across Afghanistan since the Taliban in 2001, there were warnings that the current political paralysis only encourage militants.
